EDA assisted the City with complete architectural services including site selection and analysis, programming, project budgeting and cost control, architectural design, interior design and furniture systems selection. Spanish Fork City has maintained strong ties to its rural traditions, while being committed to being at the forefront of technological progress. EDA designed the building to reflect this vision by utilizing a classical architectural vocabulary in a contemporary context, complete with the latest in technological systems. The project was sized to allow the courts and police to grow into their facilities. Furthermore the building has been placed on the site to accommodate expansion to accommodate additional growth beyond the initial planning horizon. This project is a result of a joint development agreement between the Utah State District, Juvenile Courts and the Spanish Fork Police Department. A high degree of creativity and building consensus was needed by all parties involved to achieve the goals of various user groups.
