EDA renovated and added meeting space to the Embassy Suites in West Valley to update and increase the hotel’s capacity to host conferences and events. The three primary additions were a new pavilion and patio area; small conference rooms with movable walls that expand into one large room; and large conference rooms can be combined to accommodate groups of more than 700 people.
A unique design consideration is that the ballrooms and patio are configured to allow event planners to customize the use of the pavilion and ballrooms to accommodate up to 1,000 people with a mix of indoor and outdoor space. This flexibility makes events more interesting and the space more desirable to event planners.
The design team also added a new vestibule and entry signage to aid visitors in finding the entrance to the hotel and conference center.
